OFFICIAL RULES - PARQUET PUBLISHING BOOK GIVEAWAY SWEEPSTAKES

1. ELIGIBILITY

This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Parquet Publishing, their immediate family members, and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.

2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM Pacific Time (PT) on November 3, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PT on November 15, 2025 (the "Entry Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.

3. HOW TO ENTER

To enter, visit www.agayhappynovel.com during the Entry Period and complete the entry form by providing your name and email address. Checking the box to receive marketing emails from Parquet Publishing is optional and not required to enter the sweepstakes. Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Parquet Publishing, which are final and binding in all respects.

4. PRIZE

Ten (10) winners will each receive one (1) copy of A Gay Happy Novel. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of each prize: $12.00 USD. Total ARV of all prizes: $120.00 USD.

Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent will be provided. Parquet Publishing reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, if any.

5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Ten (10) potential winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The random drawing will be conducted on or about November 16, 2025 by Parquet Publishing using a randomized selection method.

Potential winners will be notified by email at the email address provided at entry on or before November 20, 2025. Potential winners must respond to the notification email within five (5) days of the date the notification email was sent. Failure to respond within the specified time period, return of any prize notification as undeliverable, or failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Parquet Publishing, which shall be final and binding in all respects. By accepting a prize, winner grants Parquet Publishing permission to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

Parquet Publishing is not responsible for: (i) late, lost, delayed, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, unreadable, inaccurate, garbled, or unintelligible entries or communications; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties; (iii) errors in transmission; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Parquet Publishing that may cause the sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; or (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or from participation in the sweepstakes.

Parquet Publishing reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Parquet Publishing's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the sweepstakes, as determined by Parquet Publishing in its sole discretion. If the sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Parquet Publishing will select winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of termination.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering the sweepstakes, entrants release and hold harmless Parquet Publishing and its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the sweepstakes or any prize won.

8. PRIVACY

Information collected from entrants is subject to Parquet Publishing's Privacy Policy. Email addresses collected through sweepstakes entry will be used solely for sweepstakes administration and winner notification unless the entrant separately opts in to receive marketing emails from Parquet Publishing by checking the optional marketing consent box on the entry form.

9. DISPUTES

Except where prohibited, by entering the sweepstakes, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate federal or state court located in Oregon. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Parquet Publishing in connection with the sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
